In case you didn't know, Guernsey is a small island in the sea with about 60,000 people on it. Other nearby islands include Jersey, England and France. Gareth is alive and well and living on the island. He is still a lightweight and was drunk under the table by Charlotte.
We also went to an even smaller island called Herm. Herm is where Hermits come from. There are only about 5 people that live there. There are lots of caves and moles but Hobbs was nowhere to be seen.
It was liberation day in Guernsey too which is the day when all beer is free. Or that is what we thought until it turned out it is the day that Ze Germans were booted off the island for good. There was much German flag-burning and a ceremonial sacrifice of a German Shepherd dog.
Also they have their own currency which is strange. You get an odd one pound note for every £1 that you give them. And some of the locals have 2 heads from too many generations of inbreeding.
Anyway here are the photos.
