Coming up this Saturday........................................ On Saturday 27th July, it's my birthday, so I'm going to have some drinks to celebrate. It'd be great to see as many of you nice folks there as possible. I'm not one to waste an excuse for a party, so I'll be making a day out of it. You can, of course, join whenever's most convenient for you. The plan for the day is as follows: 3pm to 5pm - Beers and food at 'Porter's Bar' in Covent Garden (map & directions below - website for more info) 5pm to 6pm - Wander slowly toward Regents Street towards final venue allowing food to go down and possibly stopping off for a cheeky beer along the way 6pm - 3am - Drinks and eventually dancing at 'Strawberry Moons' (map & directions below - website for more info) "What kind of establishment is Strawberry Moons", I hear you ask? It's a fun, cheesy, boozy kind of a place, so say reports. This will be my first time there, so I'm going on trusted recommendations. The Strawberry Moons website said the following about Saturday nights there (which are called 'Oblivion', by the way!):  "Slamin’ thru the weekend, DJ Antastic & Mr. PIES continue to blend the best in 60’s to 00’s that makes this the biggest party in town!"
Saturday prices & times are as follows: HAPPY HOUR 6pm - 8pm
FREE ENTRY B4 8pm 8pm - 9pm £5 9pm - 10pm £7 After 10pm £9
OPEN 6pm - 3am

In other words, if you don't fancy making it out in the daytime, it's worth getting to Strawberry Moons by 8pm to take advantage of the cheap drinks and free entry.
