BOAT RACE

Sun 6th April (this coming Sunday) is boat race day and as Ed, Caroline, Stevo and I live only a small yardage from the river it would be rude not to invite everyone for a day of riverside imbibing and (touch wood) sun worshipping. Not to mention laughing at all those Oxbridge types that manage to make even Fred look almost normal in comparison.

Details? Details? I hear you cry. Well, copied straight from an e-mail some of you hopefully already received:-

"Basic arrangements for Sunday are fairly easy, the plan being to go down to the river/pub about 11 and stay there all day soaking up the atmosphere. There'll be some boats going past at some point too but we don't need to worry too much about that. I guess not all of you will want to/be able to go down so early so come down whenever. We'll base ourselves on the West side of Hammersmith Bridge, easy to get to from Hammersmith Station (District, Piccaddilly or District Line) or Ravenscourt Park (District Line). We'll be in and around the Rutland Pub address and map below.
