As Jon says, it's time for a new version of MMALO. I just wanted to say thanks to you all for having me as your webmaster for the past 6 years or so and apologies for the lack of site updates for the past 3 - it's mostly been due to a combination of being busy & lazy! It's for that reason that the site is sorely in need of a revamp.
As Jon first started the MMALO franchise, with the original incarnation being a site advertising the DM pub crawl, it's appropriate that I hand the torch back & fitting that it'll launched in time for this year's pub crawl. You'll be in very good hands, with Jon being at the helm of a successful web design & development company.
So it's nearly [sniff] goodbye from me, but you can look forward to a new & improved MMALO - hurrah! Please don't be shy and send any suggestions for new features to Jon.

| So, Make Mine A Large One is looking a bit long in the tooth and the members database is so out of date that people tend to use their own email lists these days.
The plan is to give it a bit of a redesign before the pub crawl this year so I need help with two things.
A) I need to cleanse the members list so please could people let me know who wants to remain a member when the new site launches and who doesn't. There are over 200 random people on the list at the moment with many duplicates and I reckon about 50 of them are genuine people who want to be on there.
B) I'd like to know any ideas peopl have on how to improve the site and any new features people would be interested in.
Basically the idea is that the new site will be a much better way of us all staying in touch, starting with making sure everybody's contact details are up-to-date and then adding some cool new features.
Anyway, I've got around 2 months to get the new site up so any ideas would be appreciated.

| People. Hope all is well and such like.
So, the time of year is coming round again for the York weekend. A little bit of a change from the usual as, unfortunately, it can't be on a bank holiday this year due to other commitments. So, it'll be happening on the weekend of Friday 18th May. The FA Cup Final is on the Saturday and we'll aim to get out, watch it and stay out.
As ever, it'll be great to see as many of you as possible, but I know it's a long way to come when the bank holiday's not involved. However, I'm taking the Friday off, so if you want to do the same, all the better.
There is plenty of room for people to stay at our new gaff, a couple of B&Bs round the corner and the usual plethora of accommodation options in town. Let me know if you can make it and we'll take it from there.

Apologies to those of you who will receive this invite twice but by now you may have heard the news that Jo and I are engaged to be married, and we all know the only reason for doing such a thing is so that we can have lots of parties. So Jo and I are having an engagement party in the Zebrano Bar in London on Saturday 28th April. We have reserved an area from 7pm so come on down (I know that I've included some of you who are quite a distance away, but if you can make it it would be great to see you).
